We all know the attributes of a good summer cocktail: crisp, cool, refreshing. But what about the ingredients that get us there? The unique blend that makes you want to sip and savor and gratefully leave those younger days with a box of wine and a headache behind. I asked the pros around town and the answers couldn’t have been more eclectic. From huckleberry sauce to agave syrup, muddled basil to diced cucumber, there are many roads to the perfect summer drink and they’re all delicious. So without further ado, and in no particular order, here you go: five of Spokane’s best summer cocktails.
